In registering for this class you are also automatically registered for the Torah of Farming Series Introduction class on Tuesday, January 13th from 7-8:30pm EST/ 4-5:30pm PT (attendance is optional but helpful if this is your first time learning in a Jewish space!)
Class Description: In this session, we will explore an array of Jewish agricultural laws designed to ensure food access and equity. We will reflect on how and why these laws came to be, and in what ways they are similar to or different from our agricultural economy today. Participants will begin to imagine how they might integrate or adapt some of these practices in their own agricultural endeavors.
