Maine Farmer to Table Shabbat: Sukkot Edition!

Attention Maine Jewish Farmers! Join us for a special Shabbat dinner during the festival of Sukkot FOR Jewish farmers BY Jewish farmers on Friday, October 10th @5:30 pm. Sukkot is one of the three harvest festivals that anchors the Jewish calendar 🌽🍎🧄

Together we will engage in rituals new and old, sit in a sukkah, and explore the ways our tradition elevates food and builds community. The Sabbath is an ancestral blueprint for sacred cycles of work and rest that are directly tied to the work of a farmer and Sukkot is an opportunity to celebrate the bounty of our harvests. Let’s honor our ancestors by breaking bread together! This space is for Jewish farmers and their friends and family. No Shabbat experience necessary!

Food will be provided, please make sure to list dietary restrictions in the registration form and feel free to bring something from your harvest to decorate…
