A Community Conversation: An Ethnography of Jewish Practices of Plant Medicine

Join Kira Rib, a steward of the Jewish Herbalist Gatherings and an anthropology PhD candidate at the University of South Florida, to learn about the initiation of her dissertation research on contemporary diasporic Jewish practices of plant medicine in the United States. Inspired in part by her learning and communal connection over the past few years with the Jewish Herbalist Gatherings, Kira's work will be intimately exploring the important experiences, relations, healing practices and offerings of Jewish practitioners of plant medicine today.
