Pre-Conference Intensive at Migrash Farm

11am to 3pm, Thursday, February 13, 2020

Shorashim and Perot: Translating Our Roots into Fruits

This pre-conference intensive will move from seeding stories to appreciating those stories' harvests, all through the medium of our ongoing relationship with cereals. Along the way, we will explore the ecology of climate, soil, small grain and human, discuss our human potential through cereals as related in Tanach and accompanying Perush, and delve into practical and sustainable applications of modern grain-based agriculture. Limited space!

  • Homemade kosher light lunch is included!
  • Participants will take home goodies from the Migrash mill.
  • Participants are responsible for transportation to and from Migrash Farm, located 15 minutes from Pearlstone. Address, directions, and a carpool link will be shared following registration.
