In registering for this class you are also automatically registered for the Torah of Farming Series Introduction class on Tuesday, January 13th from 7-8:30pm EST/ 4-5:30pm PT (attendance is optional but helpful if this is your first time learning in a Jewish space!)
Class Description: What does it mean that we humans are made of the dust of the earth? What can we learn about ourselves, God(dess) and the world from our creation stories, the musical art of composting, and trees? We will explore passages from the Torah starting with our creation story and then following our relationship with fruit trees particularly. Our goal is to understand and be inspired to deeper connection with the world around us through ancient words.
