We are thrilled to partner with Regenerate Change to offer Jewish farmers the opportunity to gather (virtually of course) to deepen our connections with one another in smaller, focused groups. Each group will consist of 8-12 participants that meet regularly (8 sessions) to check in and support each other’s efforts. See this document for more information about Seed Pods (also called Social Alchemy Pods by our friends at Regenerate Change).
Our first four Seed Pod themes and their co-conveners are:
SHMITA: Amalia Haas
LAND + FOOD JUSTICE: Mike Tintner and Brenden Jackson
JEWISH FARMERS IN NEW ENGLAND: Marlo Stein and Craig Oshkello
QUEER, TRANS + NONBINARY JEWISH FARMERS: Shoshanna Mackay and Simcha Halpert-Hanson
(after selecting your price point, you'll be asked to mention the name of a
co-convener so that you get placed into the correct group)
Why is there a cost to participate?
Participation in a Seed Pod requires a sliding-scale investment of $40-$120, or $5-$15 per convening. This investment allows Regenerate Change to provide support to your pod in the following ways:
Providing co-conveners with onboarding and resourcing calls
Giving honoraria to the co-conveners of your Seed Pod
Adding to our ever-growing library of regenerative design exercises
Developing and maintaining our online platform to connect SAP participants across the globe
Note: If the cost is preventing you from signing up for a Seed Pod, please be in touch (firstname.lastname@example.org).
