On Sukkot our ancestors traveled from their farms, pastureland and villages throughout the land of Israel to bring their harvest offerings to the Holy Temple (Beit HaMikdash) in Jerusalem. This year – in 5781– we will gather Jewish farmers virtually to celebrate the end of the harvest season, honor our hard work and reflect on the blessings this year has bestowed. Join us for harvest* show-and-tell, text study breakouts, inviting in the Ushpizin**–our collective and individual ancestors, and a celebration of all of our hard work this season.
*No literal harvest to share? No problem! What is something you “harvested” through your hard work this season?
*Participants are invited to preselect an Ushpizin: an ancestor (biblical, familial, emotional) to invite into the space.
