Jewish Farmer Network Kehillah (Community) Calls
This month, we're excited to hear from, a badass sheep farmer, Mama and Anthropologist Zan Golblatt Clark of Longcloud Farm in Vermont. She'll be sharing her unique perspective on how livestock farming and Judaism intersect.
Suzanna & Stephen Goldblatt Clark arrived in Vermont with their three children in February of 2020 to begin a new venture as farm owners in Vermont’s Champlain Valley, on unceded Abenaki land. Suzanna manages the farm’s administrative end and as the only ranch hand, assists with day-to-day work as needed. Currently their focus is on raising lambs from Dorper x Katadhin ewes and seasonal contract grazing at solar sites in New England.
In these strange times, we feel it's important to check-in with each other and offer some loving community support. Join members of the Jewish Farmer Network community for a monthly check-in on the first Thursday of every (Gregorian) month.
Look forward to guest speakers from our community, agricultural Torah learning, break-out groups with Jewish Farmers from across the world, and some fun updates from the JFN team!
This monthly offering is free!
