Come first to ground in what shmita teaches us about an agricultural system that works for people and planet (and how to move towards the system that will allow for shmita on your farm or homestead). Stay to expand your thinking and practice around how shmita is not just about agriculture, but rather about transformation of our whole economic system-- one that points towards a just transition, towards an economy of care, solidarity, justice, and right relationship between people and planet.


Bio:

Grace serves as Executive Director of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT), bringing with her a lifelong commitment to work at the intersection of people, land, and justice. She has a degree in religion from Yale University and rabbinical ordination from Pluralistic Rabbinical Seminary. She writes…
