CFSA Conference Shabbat Dinner

Join the Jewish Farmer Network and One Soil Farm for a Shabbat dinner with all of your Carolina Farm Stewardship Association Conference friends!! Together we will engage in rituals new and old, while exploring the ways our tradition elevates food and builds community. The Sabbath is an ancestral blueprint for sacred cycles of work and rest that are directly tied to the work of a farmer. Let’s honor our ancestors by breaking bread together!

All are welcome! Please spread the word to any Jewish farmer friends you know in the area! You do not have to be registered for CFSA's conference to attend this Shabbat dinner.

Vegetarian food, wine, and bread provided with registration 

**Please arrive between 5:30-6pm for a 6pm start!**

Accessibility: This event will be held outdoors - fully outside in the open air if possible, and if it's rainy/freezing, we'll be inside One Soil's greenhouse, but with the doors open and walls raised.

As masking will not be possible while we share our meal, everyone can eat together at a distance they feel comfortable. We'll have seats around a shared communal table, as well as the option to distance a bit on your own blanket/chairs.

If you are sick, not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within 7 days please stay home! If you are able to take a rapid test the day of the event, please do! If you are experiencing any symptoms, please don't come - we'll miss you, but we'll appreciate your community care ❤️

**A note on pricing: We are committed to making our events as accessible as possible! While the true cost of a dinner is $20 per guest, please feel free to pay what you can. Consider paying a little extra to help cover the cost of another guests meal or feel free to pay only as much as you are able – we are so glad to get to celebrate time with ya!)
